Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product capabilities from initial discovery through to development, launch, adoption, and iteration.

• Collaborate with Audit, FDD/TAS, and other accounting professionals to gain insights into workflows, identify pain points, and discover opportunities to reduce manual tasks.

• Convert customer and market insights into precise product requirements and priorities.

• Enhance how Crunchafi gathers, standardizes, validates, and delivers financial data across various accounting systems and ERPs.

• Spot opportunities to extract greater value from collected financial data through improved analysis, automation, and workflow support.

• Work alongside Engineering and Design to create effective, intuitive, dependable, and scalable solutions.

• Utilize data, customer feedback, and product usage analytics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support teams to launch new capabilities and promote customer adoption.

• Keep updated on advancements in accounting technology, financial data, AI, and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

• CPA certification is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management is necessary.

• Ideally possess experience in B2B SaaS, accounting technology, financial technology, data analytics, or workflow products.

• A strong grasp of accounting principles and financial data, including financial statements, trial balances, general ledgers, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

• Proven experience in managing product features or areas from customer discovery through to delivery and iteration.

• Comfortable working with data-intensive products and collaborating with Engineering on integrations, APIs, data mapping, or similar technical concepts.

• Excellent skills in customer discovery and problem-solving.

• Capable of identifying the underlying needs behind feature requests.

• Proficient in translating complex workflows into clear requirements and straightforward product experiences.

• Strong analytical abilities, along with written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable in an environment where problems may not be fully defined and willing to learn about new domains as necessary.

• Experience in public accounting, Audit/Assurance, Financial Due Diligence, or Transaction Advisory Services is advantageous.
