Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering teams to visualize and implement solutions that realize the product vision while meeting requirements.

• Design, modify, and facilitate the scrum framework throughout the product lifecycle, overseeing the backlog and directing release plans.

• Partner with other product owners and scrum masters to formulate comprehensive strategies for product development.

• Prioritize and oversee the backlog of user stories and defects.

• Organize, coordinate, and document development activities for large-scale, high-visibility projects, adjusting to varying scopes.

• Ensure effective communication of sprints, releases, issues, and pertinent information to stakeholders.

• Assess activities for maximum business value and make strategic decisions during sprint planning sessions.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with steering committees, sponsors, customers, functional managers, and project teams.

• Empower scrum teams with clear objectives, promoting sustainable maximum velocity and addressing concerns during sprints.

• Work alongside development teams to commit backlog items to sprints and engage in post-live retrospectives.

• Advocate for the value of product releases at the team level, ensuring stakeholder alignment on objectives, scope, and deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Software Product Ownership.

• A solid blend of technical expertise and business acumen.

• Familiarity with Jira and GitHub.

• Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and agile development methodologies.

• Ability to translate abstract information into relevant and detailed business or functional requirements.

• Capability to distinguish technology requirements and constraints from core business value.

• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, adept at engaging and aligning diverse stakeholders.

• Proven teamwork abilities, including establishing and maintaining effective working relationships across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.

• A university degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Nice to have: experience in understanding clinical data, clinical data workflows, and guiding transformations and integrations.

• Nice to have: knowledge of eClinical vendor systems and workflows.

• Nice to have: experience with 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, CDISC ODM, HL7 FHIR, and GDPR compliance.
