This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of Medicaid benefit programs along with supporting vendor solutions throughout the product life cycle.
• Collaborate with regional Medicaid markets to translate member requirements, regulatory needs, and market priorities into unique benefits.
• Manage vendor contracting processes, which include vendor selection support, contract and SLA development, negotiations, amendments, and renewals.
• Direct vendor and benefit implementations, transitions, and de-implementations.
• Supervise vendor relationships, governance, and performance evaluations.
• Formulate vendor and benefit strategies that align with market, departmental, and corporate objectives.
• Propel vendor optimization and consolidation initiatives.
• Design, implement, and refine benefit operations, processes, and workflow best practices.
• Evaluate vendor utilization, expenditures, and financial performance.
• Collaborate with Analytics teams to create reporting and tools that assess utilization, effectiveness, and member outcomes.
• Spot opportunities to improve products and services, clinical performance, financial performance, and product attractiveness.
• Conceptualize, develop, and manage both new and existing products from inception to service delivery.
• Audit assigned plan benefit package reviews.
• Keep track of market trends and identify product opportunities and enhancements.
• Assess product performance and outcomes through cost and benefit analyses.
• Conduct internal and external product training.
• Relay pertinent details to market leaders and partners.
• Assist sales and market leadership in pursuing competitive growth opportunities.
• Offer knowledge, mentorship, and leadership to colleagues and team members.
• Engage in meetings, manage deadlines, and carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in product and services development and management.
• Familiarity with assigned products.
• Prior experience leading a functional area.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams on large-scale projects.
• Preferred experience with CMS and/or the annual Medicare Advantage bid process.
• Experience with Medicaid plans is preferred.
• Vendor management experience within a managed care environment is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Proficiency in using the HPMS PBP module and CMS regulatory memos/releases.
• Ability to manage increased workload during peak seasons.
• Strong attention to detail and superior quality of work.
