Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop the product strategy and roadmap for Avam’s scientific product offerings.

• Establish priorities for Avam’s products and customer experiences, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and objectives.

• Collect feedback from visitors, staff, and various stakeholders to identify needs and potential areas for enhancement.

• Create comprehensive product plans, set goals, and establish timelines, ensuring the workflow progresses from conception to launch.

• Collaborate with teams throughout the organization to plan, deliver, and refine products, programs, or services.

• Determine success metrics and monitor results, including customer feedback, participation rates, revenue, or other defined objectives.

• Leverage research and performance data to suggest improvements and inform future product strategies.

• Oversee product budgets, timelines, and competing demands; proactively communicate risks or resource requirements.

• Keep stakeholders updated on priorities, progress, decisions, and outcomes.

• Ensure that products and experiences are accessible, align with Avam’s values, and are beneficial to the communities they serve.

• Record product decisions, processes, and insights to facilitate ongoing enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of product management experience in the biotechnology or life sciences sector.

• Proven experience in managing scientific products from initial discovery to commercial launch.

• Strong capability to convert technical concepts into actionable product requirements.

• Experience with scientific product domains or technical environments, including biotech research tools, diagnostics, lab instrumentation, manufacturing workflows, and applications related to cleaner-energy materials.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration among research, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.

• A reliable high-speed internet connection is necessary for remote work.
