Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Formulate and uphold product strategies, roadmaps, and business plans for designated product lines.

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept development to end-of-life planning.

• Discover and assess market opportunities through customer insights, market research, competitive analysis, and industry trends.

• Collect, analyze, and prioritize requirements from customers, dealers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain product requirements documents, functional specifications, and business cases.

• Collaborate with Engineering to outline product features, functionality, performance requirements, and technical specifications.

• Guide cross-functional product development teams to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

• Organize product launches, including commercialization plans, pricing strategies, training materials, documentation, and communications.

• Track product performance, sales trends, profitability, customer satisfaction, warranty claims, and service issues.

• Analyze product and market data to inform strategic decisions and promote continuous improvement.

• Establish product positioning, value propositions, and competitive differentiation in partnership with Sales and Marketing.

• Provide Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Technical Support with product knowledge, training, and technical advice.

• Review competitive products and emerging technologies.

• Suggest pricing, packaging, feature enhancements, and portfolio optimization strategies.

• Assist in demand planning, inventory management, and cost-reduction initiatives alongside Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.

• Engage in vendor and supplier evaluations.

• Ensure compliance of products with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

• Present product plans, business cases, status reports, and performance metrics to leadership.

• Manage multiple product initiatives while effectively balancing priorities and resource constraints.

• Reports to the President.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.

• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in product management, product development, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience managing products through all stages of the product lifecycle, including planning, development, launch, sustainment, and end-of-life management.

• Experience in developing product requirements, business cases, product roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and bring projects to successful completion in a collaborative environment.

• Experience in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments.

• Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen.

• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Willingness to travel as required for customer visits, trade shows, supplier meetings, and other business-related activities.

• Capability to develop product strategies, roadmaps, business cases, and lifecycle plans.

• Ability to assess market trends, customer needs, competitive products, and financial data.

• Proficient in managing multiple projects and leading cross-functional teams.

• Skilled in translating customer and business needs into product requirements and specifications.

• Competent in identifying opportunities, assessing risks, analyzing complex issues, and making data-driven recommendations.

• Ability to sit, stand, or move for extended periods.

• Capability to lift up to 10 pounds.
