Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Engage with users and customers weekly through meaningful conversations and usage analysis based on US time.

• Convert usage data, support tickets, sales inquiries, and interview feedback into prioritized product tasks.

• Determine the next developments and clearly decline unsupported requests.

• Create build-ready specifications that encompass outcomes, scope, human-in-the-loop considerations, and testable acceptance criteria.

• Develop key flows using wireframes, clickable prototypes, or functional demos.

• Directly contribute to code and design by delivering small features or fixes utilizing AI tools.

• Collaborate with design teams on solutions and enhancing user experience.

• Work alongside delivery and engineering teams to ensure execution and establish shipping timelines.

• Present roadmaps and trade-offs to funders, clients, and sales stakeholders.

• Reassess priority decisions in response to feedback, providing clear reasoning.

• Track post-launch metrics and respond accordingly to the outcomes.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and open questions simultaneously.

• Strong judgment in determining what to develop next, and clarity on what should not be pursued.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in plain English.

• Proficient in AI: utilize AI daily for sorting signals, drafting specifications, prototyping, and discerning quality output from poor quality.

• At ease with directly contributing to code and design with AI tools.

• Comfortable leading priority discussions under pressure, or adjusting priorities for valid reasons.

• Minimum of 1 year in product management or related work demonstrating equivalent skills.

• Must have at least 7 to 8 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern time (9am to 6pm ET), consistently.

• Reliable internet access, a quiet environment for customer calls, and possession of your own laptop.

• Legally authorized to work as an independent contractor or through an employer of record in your country.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.

• Prior experience working remotely with a US or UK team.

• Familiarity with a B2B product that serves operational or compliance functions.

• Ability to interpret usage data or manage a support queue independently.

• Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, or legal.

• Previous experience in a 0-to-1 or early-stage product role.
