Product Manager – AI/Renter's Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Develop and articulate the strategic vision for products within the insurance portfolio.

• Identify fresh market opportunities, competitive challenges, and partnership avenues to enhance adoption and revenue.

• Convert industry trends in insurance, e-commerce, proptech, insurtech, and AI into practical product initiatives.

• Manage the product roadmap from concept through to launch and ongoing iterations.

• Prioritize features and improvements based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.

• Create comprehensive Product Requirements Documentation in line with RealPage standards.

• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, design, operations, and other product teams to deliver solutions to the market.

• Lead experimentation efforts using A/B testing, rapid hypothesis validation, and iterative learning cycles.

• Enhance funnels, user experiences, and digital flows to boost conversion and retention rates.

• Conduct interviews with clients and residents, analyzing behavioral, operational, and financial data.

• Represent the interests of residents and property management stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Take ownership of KPIs such as enrollment, revenue, churn, premium/policy, and customer experience outcomes.

• Develop, refine, and monitor performance dashboards while driving growth initiatives.

• Work with finance, analytics, and channel partners to enhance product economics and embedded distribution.

• Analyze, triage, and resolve product issues impacting both internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate across Resident Solutions, insurance carriers, legal, marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive and compliant product delivery.

• Facilitate communication, documentation, and alignment across RealPage business units.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, insurtech, SaaS, or e-commerce.

• Demonstrated success in delivering products that achieve measurable business impact.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

• Experience with experimentation frameworks, funnel optimization, and A/B testing methodologies.

• Capable of collaborating cross-functionally and influencing without direct authority.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present effectively to senior leadership.

• Familiarity with SAFe Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Preferred knowledge of insurance, renter’s insurance, or related regulatory environments.

• Experience in proptech or real estate technology is a plus.

• Exposure to AI/ML-driven product features, personalization engines, or predictive analytics is advantageous.

• Understanding of underwriting concepts, risk management, or insurance operations is preferred.
