Product Manager, Agent Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the agent platform roadmap from start to finish, covering Harness, Code, Eval, Intern, and Desktop.

• Define the target audience, competitive positioning, investment priorities, and strategic direction for coding, cloud, and desktop agents.

• Establish Ori as a leading open reference implementation in the multi-model market.

• Transition new tools from waitlist and private testing phases to general availability.

• Collaborate with design partners, promote internal usage, and monitor adoption, retention, and spending metrics.

• Develop features for model switching, provider fallbacks, tool dependencies, organizational guardrails, and evaluation-driven model selection.

• Manage the agent experience throughout installation, authentication, CLI user experience, harness configuration, secrets management, connections, and application interfaces.

• Work alongside go-to-market and platform teams to convert user and enterprise feedback into roadmap priorities.

• Identify and address API and SDK deficiencies within the core product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management or founder experience in developing tools for developers, agent products, or infrastructure tailored for technical users.

• Proven history of guiding a product from prototype to acquiring paying users.

• Daily proficiency with coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, or OpenCode.

• Capability to read code, operate the CLI, inspect traces, and understand agent loops, tool invocation, context management, evaluations, and the trade-offs related to model cost, latency, and quality.

• Experience in delivering technical products where the nuances of interaction are critical.

• Ability to engage with users, prototype, launch, and iterate within a small team environment.

• Previous experience as a founder or early employee at a developer tools or agent-focused company is advantageous.

• Familiarity with multi-agent systems, agent skills or memory, evaluations, and benchmarking products is a plus.

• Experience in launching Slack applications, native desktop applications, or expanding products for both developer and non-developer audiences is a benefit.

• Being an existing OpenRouter user or having active AI tooling side projects is desirable.
