This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop product strategy to enhance the experience for financial advisors.
• Take ownership of and refine the product roadmap.
• Evaluate advisor workflows, systems, data, and processes for opportunities to simplify, consolidate, automate, and boost productivity.
• Convert advisor and business requirements into actionable product outcomes and priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to address constraints, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Leverage research, behavioral and operational data, feedback, and market trends to guide strategy.
• Persuade leadership and cross-functional partners regarding product direction.
• Lead discovery and delivery teams, articulate requirements, manage dependencies and trade-offs, secure compliance and legal approvals, and drive project milestones.
• Ensure products align with Empower's business objectives, advisor demands, technological landscape, and competitive context.
• Establish and monitor success metrics including advisor outcomes, adoption rates, operational efficiency, and product performance.
• Make informed product decisions based on user insights, quantitative analysis, technical knowledge, and iterative testing.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance experiences, lessen complexity, and improve delivery and operational efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in product management, leading significant products or functionalities while collaborating with engineering, design, research, and business teams.
• Strong product judgment and prioritization skills.
• Technical proficiency in system interactions, data flows, integrations, dependencies, and technical trade-offs.
• Ability to distill complex user, business, and technology challenges into product priorities and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities using both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Skills in stakeholder management within a highly regulated environment.
• Outstanding communication and storytelling capabilities.
• Ability to independently drive initiatives, navigate uncertainty, and ensure follow-through.
• Value for intuitive user experiences and simplifying intricate workflows.
