📋 Description

• Oversee the development, design, and upkeep of proprietary Management Liability coverage forms and related rules for both admitted and non-admitted applications.

• Create new forms and update existing ones to align with underwriting requirements and changing legal standards.

• Track and evaluate regulatory and judicial landscapes to ensure compliance in writing states.

• Conduct, oversee, and analyze market research and competitive assessments for the designated product line.

• Work together with Specialty Underwriting to formulate and promote strategies and objectives for professional and executive lines.

• Formulate filing strategies and handle responses to inquiries and objections from the State Department of Insurance.

• Guide and work closely with Product Analysts.

• Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, Claims, Legal, Compliance, Actuarial, and Technology teams to foster profitable growth and enhance customer results.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Specialty insurance, with practical knowledge in product management, or a combination of education and experience that provides a comparable background.

• Comprehensive understanding of specialty insurance products, including policy wording, form drafting, coverages, and the regulatory environment.

• Exceptional leadership, innovative thinking, initiation, organization, and time management abilities.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Advanced capacity to understand and convey product strategies, underwriting approaches, and coverage inter-relationships.

• Significant ability to influence strategic decisions that support corporate objectives.

• Excellent interpersonal skills that align with Hanover's CARE values.
