Product Lead – Platform & Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product strategy and roadmap for the entire Sureel stack.

• Engage in customer discovery with labels, publishers, PROs/CMOs, artists, AI companies, DSPs, and other industry stakeholders.

• Conduct customer interviews, market analysis, competitive research, workflow assessments, prototype testing, and structured feedback collection.

• Convert commercial and licensing ideas into scalable product functionalities.

• Develop enterprise-grade products featuring administration, permissions, roles, bulk workflows, APIs, integrations, auditability, reporting, configurability, security, reliability, and operational scalability.

• Define the core platform architecture, configurable features, integrations, and custom exceptions.

• Create and manage PRDs, user journeys, workflows, success metrics, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and implementation priorities.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering and AI teams throughout the development process.

• Work alongside Client Relations to address onboarding challenges, adoption obstacles, partner feedback, and usage growth.

• Analyze product usage and partner behaviors.

• Lead products through research, concept formulation, development, launch, adoption, iteration, and expansion.

• Establish product discipline and governance, including roadmap evaluations and prioritization frameworks.

• Define quantifiable outcomes for product investments.

• Identify trends in customer requests and market changes.

• Ensure product architecture aligns with emerging industry frameworks and standards for rights, licensing, permissions, attribution, and reporting.

• Foster clarity among leadership, Engineering, AI, Commercial, Client Relations, and Marketing teams.

• Contribute to the future development of the product organization and identify resource needs.

• Transform Sureel from standalone capabilities into a cohesive enterprise platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven product leader with experience in building enterprise B2B software, platforms, infrastructure, APIs, or complex technical products.

• Strong product judgment combined with a hands-on approach.

• Experience managing products from discovery to launch and adoption.

• Proficient in customer discovery techniques.

• Ability to convert intricate business models, workflows, and customer needs into scalable product systems.

• Comfortable discussing APIs, data models, integrations, AI systems, infrastructure, and technical trade-offs.

• Understanding of enterprise product requirements and how they differ from consumer products.

• Commercially aware with an understanding of customer value, adoption, strategic advantage, and business outcomes.

• Capable of distinguishing individual customer issues from platform capabilities.

• Comfortable working with incomplete information in a rapidly evolving environment.

• Excellent communication skills across technical, commercial, customer, and executive audiences.

• Preferred experience in media, music, rights management, licensing, payments, marketplaces, compliance, or creator platforms.

• Preferred experience with multi-sided platforms or ecosystems.

• Preferred experience building products for large enterprises with intricate organizational structures and workflows.

• Preferred experience with AI or machine-learning products, APIs, developer infrastructure, or data-intensive platforms.

• Preferred experience translating contracts, pricing models, or business rules into product functionalities.

• Preferred experience as an early product hire or leader establishing product practices from the ground up.

• Preferred experience engaging directly with C-level executives.

• Curiosity about AI, technology, intellectual property, and the creative industries.
