This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop the product strategy and roadmap from the MVP stage through to achieving product-market fit and scaling.
• Take full ownership of outcome briefs, encompassing problem identification, delivery, and assessment of results.
• Facilitate weekly planning cycles with engineers, the design engineer, and the team lead.
• Recognize where early adopters find value or encounter challenges and prioritize accordingly.
• Establish success metrics, ensure they are measured, and adjust the course based on the data collected.
• Uphold quality standards while determining where "good enough" is acceptable.
• Focus on onboarding, reliability, self-service, and integrations to foster growth.
• Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, support, and operations on product positioning, pricing, and launches.
• Provide updates to engineers, leadership, and partners regarding insights and subsequent actions.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, including the ownership of a product or a significant product area and its outcomes.
• Proven track record of guiding an early product from MVP to achieving product-market fit and substantial growth.
• Product decisions driven by direct engagement with customers.
• Experience in streamlining complex workflows.
• A solid understanding of software development to effectively assess trade-offs with engineers, identify risks, and pose relevant questions.
• Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams without a dedicated engineering manager.
• Proven experience in managing weekly planning and setting priorities.
• Proficiency with metrics, goal-setting, and utilizing data for decision-making.
• Regular utilization of AI tools in daily work, with the capability to articulate their application.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A self-directed, low-ego mindset and the ability to sustain momentum in uncertain situations.
