Product Engineer II – Defense Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify customer requirements and develop geospatial solutions tailored for the defense sector.

• Set up ArcGIS applications, tools, and information models specifically for industry applications.

• Contribute to product design to ensure user-friendliness and an exceptional customer experience.

• Work alongside customers, software development, business development, and professional services teams to outline and create solutions.

• Create and evaluate product briefs, presentations, and documentation for ArcGIS Solutions.

• Design and write test cases to assess functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Conduct both manual and automated testing, analyze the outcomes, and communicate the results.

• Evaluate product quality and readiness for release.

• Manage existing ArcGIS Solutions.

• Present and advocate for solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience within the defense sector.

• Experience utilizing ArcGIS to enhance specific industry workflows.

• Proficient in documenting and constructing GIS workflows.

• Bachelor’s degree in geography or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with defense and intelligence processes.

• Programming skills with scripting languages like Python or Arcade.

• Experience in configuring web-based GIS applications.

• Proficient with ArcGIS Pro.

• Strong creative problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
