Product Designer, UX/UI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across various functions to enhance the user experience and interfaces of diverse digital products.

• Work alongside Product, Business, and Engineering teams to convert user requirements and business objectives into workflows, components, and high-fidelity prototypes.

• Evaluate and enhance current interfaces and prototypes, pinpointing areas for improvement.

• Design and optimize user flows and journeys across various products and contexts.

• Develop responsive interfaces and interactive prototypes using Figma.

• Create and improve reusable components to ensure consistency across products.

• Generate specifications and documentation to direct interface development.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and alignment meetings with involved teams.

• Deliver UX/UI outputs based on established priorities.

• Implement Design System standards and contribute to the development of shared components.

• Document rules for interface usage, variations, states, and behaviors.

• Take into account usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and technical feasibility when formulating solutions.

• Conduct handoffs to the Development team, clarify any queries, and monitor implementation.

• Review finalized interfaces and highlight any required modifications.

• Present and justify design choices while incorporating feedback from Product, Business, and Engineering.

• Coordinate activities across workstreams, effectively communicating progress, dependencies, and obstacles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience in UX/UI or Product Design for digital products.

• A portfolio showcasing examples of interfaces, workflows, and prototypes that illustrates the rationale behind the solutions.

• Expertise in Figma for designing interfaces and prototypes, including Auto Layout, components, and variants.

• Experience in utilizing and enhancing Design Systems and component libraries.

• Understanding of information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, and responsive design.

• Familiarity with digital usability and accessibility best practices.

• Experience in documenting interfaces and conducting handoffs to the Development team.

• Capability to translate user needs and business requirements into effective design solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities when interacting with multidisciplinary teams in Agile settings.

• Organizational skills and adaptability to work across multiple products and adjust to shifting priorities.

• Preferred: Experience collaborating cross-functionally across various products or squads.

• Preferred: Experience with B2B, B2C, or enterprise platforms.

• Preferred: Background in conducting user research, usability testing, and prototype validation.

• Preferred: Familiarity with product metrics and using data to inform experience enhancements.

• Preferred: Experience in documenting Design Systems, design tokens, and WCAG accessibility criteria.

• Preferred: Knowledge of HTML and CSS to facilitate collaboration with the Development team.
