This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Transform customer and business objectives into engaging, purposeful, simple, and practical products.

• Develop a variety of solutions for specific challenges across the product suite.

• Oversee design projects from the discovery phase and concept ideation to user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.

• Emphasize simplicity, speed, and trust for users with non-technical backgrounds.

• Collaborate with leadership and product marketing stakeholders to fulfill customer needs and achieve desired outcomes.

• Work alongside business stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and other designers within a triad model.

• Articulate design processes, inspiration, decisions, and rationale to stakeholders effectively.

• Utilize storytelling to convey complex design rationale and foster alignment.

• Engage in design reviews, address feedback, and refine solutions iteratively.

• Advocate for cohesion, consistency, accessibility, and adherence to design system standards.

• Implement design-system standards and contribute to their advancement.

• Connect screens into seamless user flows.

• Employ Jobs-to-be-Done methodology and user-centered design principles.

• Conduct customer interviews and usability tests, translating insights into design iterations.

• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, workflows, and business objectives to inform design decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in user experience/product design, interaction design, information architecture, or a similar role.

• Documented experience in delivering product design initiatives that enhanced user outcomes or business metrics.

• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality digital products and design capabilities.

• Proven ability to communicate design decisions and their impact on customers clearly.

• Capability to present and clarify complex problems to diverse audiences effectively.

• Profound understanding of user-centered design processes and human-computer interaction principles.

• Ability to assess the customer and business impact of design choices.

• Proficiency in contemporary design tools, preferably Figma.

• Experience utilizing qualitative and quantitative research methods.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in the design sector.

• Commitment to ongoing learning and keeping abreast of design trends and best practices.

• Experience designing intricate enterprise or SaaS workflows, especially in B2B contexts.

• Background in service industry workflows or field service management.

• Experience with enterprise product design or financial services product design.

• Familiarity with AI-driven features or data-centric product experiences.

• Experience in solving complex issues at a systems or service level.

• Knowledge of Jobs-to-be-Done methodology and service design principles.

• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.

• Experience with design systems and component-based design methodologies.

• Experience mentoring junior designers or leading design projects.

• Experience collaborating within cross-functional agile product teams.

• Experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders and executives.
