Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of IRL features from the initial discovery phase to production-ready design.

• Gain a thorough understanding of how store associates, managers, and admin users operate within Endear.

• Conduct research ranging from early discovery to usability testing.

• Create comprehensive and accessible product experiences, addressing loading, empty, error, permission, and other critical states.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to influence solutions from the outset.

• Utilize customer insights and data to guide design choices and refinements.

• Foster deeper ownership across the IRL product.

• Deliver experiences that enhance retail teams’ clienteling and in-store workflows.

• Establish a consistent practice of discovery, testing, and continuous learning.

• Showcase clear user and business impact through delivered work.

• Work in partnership with the Head of Product Design on vision and strategy.

• Collaborate with a Product Manager and a team of 2–3 Engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in product design.

• Ability to independently manage features from discovery to implementation, with guidance on vision and direction.

• Experience in conducting user research from discovery to usability testing.

• Skill in translating broad or ambiguous challenges into clear product solutions.

• Experience working collaboratively with Design, Product, and Engineering teams.

• Ability to design complex, accessible workflows while considering loading, empty, error, and permission states.

• Proficiency in using qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.

• Capability to build within established design patterns while recognizing the need for evolution.

• Experience utilizing AI tools as part of your workflow and applying discretion to AI-generated outputs.

• A portfolio showcasing strong product thinking and execution, demonstrating the ability to communicate work impact and data where applicable.

• Availability for the all-team standup every Monday at 8:00 AM Pacific.

• Must be based in the United States.

• Retail or e-commerce background is not required.
