This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create chat-first, agent-led experiences adhering to established patterns.
• Define the presentation of insights in a conversational manner and guide users from inquiries to decisions.
• Utilize the design system and component library, while identifying any gaps and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to transform scoped challenges into clear flows, states, and high-quality interfaces.
• Develop prototypes in Figma or AI tools to validate design rationale.
• Generate screens, states, and intricate components.
• Engage in UX reviews of features, agent responses, generated UI, and layouts prior to release.
• Showcase work and design rationale to designers, Product Managers, and engineers.
• Rapidly iterate based on feedback.
• 1-4 years of experience in product design.
• Expertise in Figma, capable of creating well-documented designs and prototypes.
• A portfolio that showcases 1-3 case studies or completed projects emphasizing your contributions.
• Strong visual design, interaction, and user experience skills, including attention to hierarchy, spacing, states, and details.
• Solid understanding of UX, UI, and accessibility fundamentals.
• Proficient in adhering to design standards and design systems.
• Ability to effectively communicate, explain, and justify design choices.
• Openness to reflect on past projects and recognize areas for improvement.
• Willingness to receive feedback and consider new ideas.
• Experience in designing data-rich, analytical, or enterprise software interfaces (preferred).
• Familiarity with AI or LLM-driven products, conversational UI, or agentic workflows (preferred).
• Comfort in using AI tools like Claude and Figma Make (preferred).
• Working knowledge of front-end concepts such as components, tokens, states, and responsive behavior (preferred).
• Interest in projects related to defense and government (preferred).
• Eligibility to acquire and maintain a U.S. security clearance (preferred).
• Contribution to design systems and documentation.
• Understanding of interaction and motion design for conversational interfaces.
• Knowledge of information architecture and user flow mapping.
• Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG) principles.
• Prototyping in code or using AI tools.
• Proficient written communication and design documentation skills.
