Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete design process from initial discovery and research to high-fidelity design and implementation.

• Perform user research and usability testing to collect insights, validate solutions, and enhance the platform.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an agile setting.

• Advocate for the customer perspective and transform insights into a shared understanding within the team.

• Develop journey maps, user flows, information architecture, and interactive prototypes.

• Balance user requirements, business objectives, and technical limitations.

• Identify and prioritize UX enhancements while contributing to the evolving design system.

• Ensure accessibility, usability, and desirability throughout platform experiences.

• Monitor product performance through analytics and user feedback, making iterative improvements as needed.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define strategy, roadmap, and delivery.

• Influence the experience of a global volunteering platform by creating intuitive experiences for both volunteers and organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of product design experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or growth-stage companies.

• A portfolio that demonstrates your design process and rationale, not just final screens.

• Strong UI design skills with a passion for creating accessible and functional interfaces.

• Experience in designing intricate workflows for web, mobile, or native applications.

• A deep understanding of product dynamics and the ability to comprehend customer needs and motivations, translating them into product opportunities.

• Capability to think comprehensively about end-to-end experiences and articulate trade-offs within a larger ecosystem.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity within fast-paced, undefined projects.

• Ability to clearly communicate ideas, reason through decisions, and use storytelling to sway stakeholders.

• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.

• Knowledge of tools such as Figma, Miro, Jira, and Confluence.
