Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee product design projects from initial concept through to final implementation

• Promote ongoing enhancements in design methodologies and suggest strategies to improve output quality

• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure design consistency

• Lead the development and adherence to SafetyWing's design framework

• Present product design concepts to cross-functional teams and senior management

• Infuse depth and significance into product experiences while upholding SafetyWing's core values

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive product design experience illustrated through a portfolio showcasing impactful design solutions

• Proven experience in designing user experiences in sectors such as insurance, finance, or other regulated industries

• Capability to design beyond digital interfaces, taking into account dependencies, user journeys, and long-term product architecture

• Expertise in design and prototyping software like Figma

• Dedication to continually learning about new features

• Experience in conducting usability testing

• Skill in articulating design concepts clearly and advocating for design principles to varied audiences

• Ability to grasp wider business and product strategies

• Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to embrace new ideas

• Creativity and courage in tackling challenges
