Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish a network of skilled contractors to meet anticipated project requirements.

• Evaluate candidates for future contract and project-based roles that align with their skills and expertise.

• Assess applicant backgrounds and maintain information for potential compatibility.

• Work closely with clients and collaborate with Product, Development, and QA team members.

• Play a role in shaping product strategy from the outset and influence product direction.

• Transform ideas and concepts into functional designs.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, style guides, and high-fidelity design outputs.

• Investigate, experiment with, and promote simple, elegant solutions to intricate challenges.

• Maintain a balance between meticulous attention to detail and low-fidelity design choices.

• Utilize user feedback and data to refine and enhance products.

• Engage in meetings and presentations to foster consensus and secure buy-in.

• Validate methodologies through functional software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience leading the design initiatives for one or more successfully launched or downloaded online or mobile products.

• A robust portfolio showcasing UX work, with an ability to articulate design decisions and trade-offs.

• Solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Proficiency in using prototypes as a communication tool.

• Familiarity with command-line tools and code editors.

• Knowledge of UI best practices.

• Capability to balance refined interfaces with project deadlines.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to persuade diverse audiences across various organizational levels.

• A curious mindset and a strong desire for continuous improvement.

• An interest in new applications, design tools, industry events, and personal projects.
