Product Design Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct a small team of product designers, ensuring prioritization, alignment, and prompt delivery of high-quality design outputs.

• Guide and motivate designers through critique sessions, coaching, feedback, educational opportunities, and skill enhancement.

• Manage project schedules, roadmaps, and design processes.

• Actively contribute to significant design projects while managing leadership duties.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, executives, and other stakeholders to convert strategic objectives into user-friendly solutions.

• Promote user-centered design through qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, and behavioral insights.

• Maintain design consistency and scalability using design systems and atomic design principles.

• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design practices.

• Work with analytics and product teams to assess design impact and enhance experiences based on data.

• Take part in portfolio evaluations, recruiter screenings, leadership interviews, design leadership challenges, and final executive discussions as part of the recruitment process.

• Robust portfolio showcasing the ability to lead design teams and produce comprehensive product design solutions across various platforms, supported by user research and measurable outcomes.

• Experience in leading and nurturing design teams, encouraging collaboration, mentorship, and performance-oriented growth.

• Proficient in UX/UI principles, interaction design, and user research techniques.

• Proven history of delivering successful, results-driven digital products.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to influence cross-functional teams and advocate for design at all organizational levels.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to transform product objectives into scalable, adaptable, user-centric design solutions.

• Experience overseeing design workflows, tools, and operational procedures.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Previous experience in fintech or SaaS industries.

• Strong grasp of financial products, compliance, security, and the importance of designing for trust.
