Product Associate – Product Manager, Training & Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Transform new survey designs, program modifications, and system updates into training resources, live training sessions, demonstration videos, release notes, and internal communications.

• Create effective training presentations, job aids, quick-reference sheets, and detailed guides for field application.

• Compose communications specifically directed to Country Directors, Program Directors, Field Managers, Assistant Field Managers, and Field Officers.

• Conduct training sessions both in-person and remotely, while also recording screen-capture demonstration videos.

• Develop and update release notes and change documentation for standard Salesforce builds.

• Generate or modify materials in English, Portuguese, and French, while overseeing translation support.

• Offer ad-hoc assistance to the Program Design team, which includes briefings, editing decks, taking meeting notes, tracking actions, and following up across countries.

• Recognize recurring questions from the field, ambiguous designs, and workarounds, and relay insights back to design owners.

• Assist with the rollout of the 2027 common Salesforce build and the 2028 pilot materials.

• Travel approximately once per quarter at a minimum, with additional travel during rollout phases, to provide training and observe field usage.

• Report to Carolina Toth, Senior Director, Product.


⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as a Field Officer or in a directly comparable frontline data collection or enrollment position at GiveDirectly or a similar cash transfer, humanitarian, or survey organization.

• Outstanding written English skills: clear, concise, and structured.

• Professional working proficiency in Portuguese or French, including written communication.

• Proven experience in producing training or instructional materials and delivering live training to groups.

• Capability to translate technical or system modifications into straightforward, practical instructions without omitting critical details.

• Well-organized and self-motivated enough to manage a queue of requests from multiple stakeholders and to clearly communicate when capacity is exceeded.

• Willingness to travel to field locations, including rural and low-infrastructure areas.

• Strong alignment with GiveDirectly values and active demonstration of emotional intelligence, problem-solving skills, project management, follow-through, and nurturing inclusivity.
