This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a personal sales strategy to achieve annual revenue and growth targets.

• Strategically prospect through networks of influence, referrals, and personal connections.

• Perform risk reviews and coverage evaluations.

• Create and present proposals using Howden’s consultative methodology.

• Collaborate with account managers, claims advocates, and marketing experts from proposal to renewal phases.

• Offer proactive year-round advice to clients as a trusted risk advisor.

• Collaborate with carriers to negotiate and secure customized coverage.

• Enhance Howden’s community presence through networking, events, and thought leadership initiatives.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping in CRM and reporting systems.

• Stay updated on emerging risks, market trends, and innovative insurance solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Property & Casualty license (multi-state authority preferred).

• Over 4 years of proven success as a producer or advisor in any line of business (e.g., P&C, EB, Financial Lines, Specialty).

• Demonstrated ability to prospect, network, and transform opportunities into lasting relationships.

• Excellent consultative communication skills—capable of listening, questioning, and customizing solutions to meet client needs.

• Skilled in navigating complex insurance placements and negotiations.

• Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ambition to develop your own portfolio within a supportive global framework.

• Proficient in using CRM systems, carrier platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Team-focused mindset and willingness to collaborate across claims, service, and leadership teams.
