Procurement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire procurement process, which includes sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, vendor evaluations, and generating purchase orders.

• Assist in commercial negotiations regarding pricing, terms, and renewal conditions in collaboration with category owners.

• Develop and sustain relationships with vendors in software, professional services, facilities, and marketing sectors.

• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, and other internal teams to gather requirements and align on specifications.

• Create purchase summaries, business cases, and vendor evaluations to aid in procurement decision-making.

• Monitor contract renewal timelines, budget expenditures, and supplier performance.

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and assist in supplier consolidation strategies.

• Maintain the vendor and contract register, ensuring adherence to internal policies and outsourcing requirements.

• Track procurement KPIs and prepare reports for management review.

• Report directly to the Head of Procurement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or a comparable commercial role, preferably within an international organization.

• Proficient understanding of contract terms, commercial negotiation, and vendor risk assessment.

• Experience in conducting RFPs/RFQs and evaluating vendor proposals.

• Strong analytical capabilities, with comfort in handling spend data, budgets, and reporting.

• Effective stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate across functions with Finance, Legal, and business teams.

• Highly organized, able to independently manage multiple requests and priorities.

• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.

• Proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with procurement or P2P platforms (e.g., Zip, Omnea, Pivot) is a plus.

• Background in a rapidly growing technology or financial services company is advantageous.

• Knowledge of outsourcing registers or third-party risk frameworks within a regulated financial environment is a bonus.
