Procurement Manager – Diagnostic Imaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the process of parts procurement and manage the purchasing team responsible for these transactions.

• Collaborate with Finance and Accounts Payable to resolve issues related to purchase orders, invoices, and credits.

• Create, document, and sustain processes and procedures for the department.

• Supervise, train, and guide Supply Chain Coordinators.

• Develop strategies to enhance department efficiency.

• Represent the procurement team in new product initiatives and software development projects.

• Allocate resources based on customer feedback to meet the needs of field operations.

• Manage the cycle count process and track deliverables outcomes.

• Oversee, train, and direct the activities of the Inventory Analyst to maintain control over parts inventory.

• Generate and develop reports that communicate inventory status and cycle count outcomes.

• Collaborate with field operations to enhance cycle count outcomes.

• Work alongside BTG on the development of SAP Supply Chain processes.

• Collaborate with Finance & Compliance on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requests.

• Partner with Quality and Compliance teams on the Approved Supplier Process.

• Supervise, train, and direct the Procurement Analyst.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience.

• A decade of experience in supply chain management.

• Travel requirements for the position: up to 10%.

• A strong understanding of financial and business/operations principles.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Advanced communication skills, both oral and written.

• A high level of initiative, independent judgment, and professionalism.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Capability to navigate and lead through change.

• Strong presentation abilities.
