Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete procure-to-pay process, encompassing contract renewals and PO creation, while collaborating closely with the Accounting and Finance teams.

• Adhere to the procurement calendar to ensure proactive engagement, visibility, and leverage during negotiations.

• Oversee vendor communications and facilitate contract negotiations.

• Work in partnership with business leaders to comprehend stakeholder needs and obtain competitive quotes.

• Collaborate with Finance and IT Asset Management to align procurement efforts with forecasting and cost management strategies.

• Provide data-driven spend analyses and insights to the CFO and senior leadership team.

• Identify opportunities for cost savings.

• Enhance procurement policies and processes while promoting their adoption throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of procurement experience with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and negotiating complex contracts.

• At least 2 years of experience in directly negotiating software and technology contracts.

• Deep understanding of contracts, with the ability to recognize commercially advantageous or disadvantageous terms and conditions.

• Self-reliant and resourceful, capable of flourishing in fast-paced environments.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Excellent communicator, skilled in collaborating with cross-functional partners at senior levels.

• Knowledge of AI and automation tools that support procurement workflows, spend analysis, and vendor management.

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• Candidates must be located in eastern time zones.
