Procurement Enablement Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the procurement program at Mixpanel while leading a team of two professionals.

• Guide and nurture team members through coaching, skill enhancement, career development, and daily performance evaluations.

• Spearhead intricate, cross-departmental procurement initiatives, establishing priorities and foreseeing potential obstacles.

• Partner with FP&A, Security, IT, and Legal to enhance purchasing processes and implement improvements.

• Cultivate strategic relationships with vendors and technology partners to secure discounts and optimize value.

• Recognize and execute enhancements in procurement processes by leveraging advanced methods, AI, and innovative tools.

• Deliver training on procurement processes to employees engaged in acquiring products and services.

• Define and articulate the vision of the procurement team in alignment with Operational Finance objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or Procurement Manager, with proven experience in managing or directly leading teams.

• Extensive background in working with SaaS companies and interacting with SaaS vendors.

• Proven experience in implementing procurement improvement initiatives.

• Solid understanding of market dynamics coupled with sound business acumen.

• Experience in managing and mitigating risks effectively.

• Strong capabilities in data management and analytics, including data gathering, cleaning, and interpretation.

• Proficient in negotiating and maintaining both internal and external networking relationships.

• Ability to collaborate across all organizational functions and support a team through transitions.

• Demonstrated history of coaching and nurturing team members, effectively managing performance, and fostering a respectful, high-achieving team culture.

• Capacity to adapt to ambiguity and changing priorities.

• Agility and resilience, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

• Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a drive for excellence.

• Professional presentation skills with comfort in presenting to executive leadership.
