Procurement Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee procurement processes for high-value projects and essential maintenance tasks, ensuring timely delivery, first-rate quality, and compliance with project scope.

• Keep procurement data and supplier records accurate and up-to-date; ensure data integrity for effective reporting and informed decision-making.

• Liaise with suppliers, internal project managers, field engineers, and operations teams to clarify technical specifications, address delivery challenges, and synchronize project or outage schedules.

• Reduce supply risks by maintaining alternative sources, contingency strategies, and supplier risk evaluations for legacy systems.

• Guarantee compliance with internal guidelines, regulatory standards, export controls (where applicable), and safety protocols throughout all sourcing activities.

• Assist in budget planning and forecasting for strategic sourcing initiatives; provide regular updates to the Director of Supply Chain and Procurement.

• Generate reports on procurement expenditures, vendor performance, inventory metrics, and part lead times for management assessment.

• Maintain quality control documentation with an emphasis on the alignment between vendor and customer deliverables.

• Handle vendor quotes and customer purchase orders using the ERP system.

• Collaborate with the team to manage inventory within the ERP system.

• Conduct all work, reporting, and recordkeeping with honesty and integrity.

• Advocate for AP4 safety policies and foster a company culture focused on trust and empowerment.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).

• Understanding of engineering change management, part obsolescence, and risk assessment for legacy equipment.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across various functions.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Willingness to travel as necessary for supplier visits and project support.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to manage a diverse array of tasks accurately and swiftly under tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in English.
