Procurement Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to enterprise procurement leaders on sourcing strategies, category management, procurement operations, organizational dynamics, and comprehensive processes.

• Promote the adoption of Pactum within customer procurement organizations and assist with change management initiatives.

• Monitor significant metrics and convert usage data and outcomes into clear narratives about business impact.

• Discover new use cases and opportunities for adoption that enhance Pactum's influence.

• Conduct customer workshops and discovery sessions to uncover pain points, resistance factors, process gaps, and valuable opportunities.

• Develop data-driven business cases that link Pactum's capabilities with customer priorities.

• Assist executives in understanding their transformation journey using relevant data and priorities.

• Gather customer feedback and insights to inform Pactum's product development and market strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in procurement.

• Substantial practical experience, preferably as a Buyer, Strategic Sourcing Manager, Category Manager, procurement operations specialist, or procurement leader.

• Direct experience with procurement processes, competing priorities, stakeholder dynamics, and organizational resistance.

• In-depth knowledge of sourcing strategies, category management, supplier relationship management, and procurement operations.

• Proven ability to encourage adoption and influence change within large, complex organizations.

• Proficiency in analyzing complex data, identifying trends, and formulating data-driven recommendations.

• A history of facilitating workshops and discovery sessions that reveal authentic customer pain points.

• Executive presence when interacting with VP-level executives and daily users.

• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple accounts and priorities effectively.

• Experience in a SaaS environment, preferably in a high-growth setting.

• Background in procurement consulting is an advantage.

• Familiarity with procurement technology platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or Jaggaer.

• A genuine interest in how autonomous AI agents can transform procurement processes.
