Procurement Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Align Nielsen’s overarching enterprise strategy with specific category strategies to provide top-tier products and services at the most competitive cost.

• Oversee strategic procurement initiatives, including the evaluation, selection, and management of externally contracted services.

• Negotiate requirements along with terms and conditions to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and enterprise policies.

• Act as a reliable partner to stakeholders by recognizing essential business needs and delivering sourcing services.

• Spot opportunities for new business ventures, process enhancements, and system improvements.

• Propel Total Cost of Ownership reductions through analytical insights and leverage supplier capabilities to fulfill business requirements.

• Formulate and implement sourcing strategies for indirect spending.

• Cultivate and maintain strategic supplier relationships.

• Manage key contracts throughout their complete lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 2–3 years of experience in procurement.

• Demonstrated ability to drive cost-saving initiatives and achieve successful business results.

• Familiarity with the entire sourcing lifecycle: Scoping, SOW Development, Evaluation, Negotiation, and Contract Transition.

• Proficient understanding of Ariba, P2P platforms, or spend analytics tools.

• Capacity to adapt to diverse cultures and time zones.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative global setting.

• Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects concurrently under stringent deadlines.

• Genuine enthusiasm for procurement and negotiating enterprise agreements with major suppliers.
