This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Evaluate procurement, expenditure, and supplier data to spot trends and opportunities for cost savings.
• Develop and sustain reports, dashboards, and tracking tools utilizing Microsoft Excel.
• Assist in the creation, processing, and monitoring of purchase orders.
• Facilitate vendor onboarding and ensure precise maintenance of supplier records.
• Oversee compliance with contracts and purchase orders.
• Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders to collect purchasing requirements and address procurement-related challenges.
• Monitor and report on essential procurement metrics, such as spending, savings, and supplier performance.
• Reconcile procurement records and aid in maintaining data accuracy across various systems.
• Assist in sourcing tasks, including gathering vendor quotes and performing market research.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation for management evaluation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within procurement processes.
• Facilitate purchasing activities, analyze spending data, manage supplier information, and identify avenues for enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a similar field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, covering formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
• Internship, co-op, part-time, or project experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, purchasing, operations, or a related field.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or procurement software.
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Ability to meet the required physical demands, including occasional standing, walking, stair climbing, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting/carrying items weighing less than 25 pounds.
