This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Oversee forecasts for finished goods inventory and create replenishment plans aligned with stocking strategies and inventory regulations.
• Implement purchase orders to align with replenishment plans and adapt to fluctuations in customer demand.
• Procure goods to support stocking strategies and uphold a strategic inventory position.
• Manage purchasing operations in SAP, which includes placing and confirming orders as well as expediting to meet customer demands.
• Issue cost-effective purchase orders based on lead times.
• Cultivate vendor relationships and address issues related to delivery, price discrepancies, minimum orders, and logistics.
• Provide ongoing feedback regarding critical vendors.
• Regulate inventory levels to achieve days-of-supply targets while minimizing slow-moving, excess, and obsolete stock.
• Maintain essential supply chain data for forecasting, customer communications, and product planning purposes.
• Reconcile invoices as necessary.
• Assess forecasts and master data to bridge supply gaps before they impact customers.
• Evaluate inventory and delivery challenges and propose solutions.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, customer service, quality assurance, marketing, sourcing, and operations teams regarding product availability and delivery timelines.
• Enhance supply chain responsiveness by managing lead times and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Develop and implement best practices for inventory planning and business strategies.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned, with or without accommodation.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a supply chain-related field is required.
• Proficiency in using an ERP system for planning, procurement, and operations (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively function in a team setting.
• Exceptional multi-tasking abilities, along with follow-up and execution skills.
• Proven capability to effectively plan and oversee multiple SKUs.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
• Capability to work efficiently under pressure and within tight deadlines or time-sensitive constraints.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• Understanding of the financial implications of variances, purchase prices, and inventory investments.
