This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee a team of Staff and Seniors (across various locations) to ensure the successful delivery of SOX engagements.
• Offer guidance to Staff and Senior members to effectively assess compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.
• Lead control rationalization and standardization efforts, or redesign existing controls for business processes.
• Assess control gaps identified during design or operational effectiveness testing, provide recommendations, and monitor remediation efforts.
• Responsible for defining the budget, tracking actual expenditures against the budget, and managing resource planning and scheduling.
• Independently manage client process owners with minimal oversight.
• Adhere to quality standards within the established turnaround time (or allocated budget) to deliver value to clients.
• Exhibit a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving while executing client engagements.
• Proactively identify engagement-related risks and escalate issues promptly as necessary.
• Design and lead specific transition plans within agreed timelines.
• Lead the team in conducting analytics and benchmarking activities for clients.
• Promote process automation and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Over 7 years of experience in a “Big 4” or professional firm or relevant industry experience in risks and controls, including more than 4 years focused on SOX/internal controls.
• Comprehensive understanding of the SOX and COSO frameworks.
• Proven leader and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• CIA certification is preferred.
• Strong educational background (degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field).
• Excellent multi-project management abilities.
• Proficient in collaborating, motivating, and guiding high-performance teams.
• Strong cognitive problem-solving skills, quick decision-making abilities, and the capacity to manage complex situations with composure.
• Exceptional command of spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel globally and flexibility to visit onsite locations when necessary.
• Team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
