Probate Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Manage high-stakes litigation from the initial intake to the final decree or judgment, encompassing contested divorces, intricate SAPCR cases, and protective orders.

• Oversee probate litigation matters, including contested guardianship cases, will contests, trust disputes, and breaches of fiduciary duty.

• Create detailed estate plans.

• Conduct First-Chair trials, hearings, mediations, and depositions in Texas surrounding counties.

• Formulate advanced litigation tactics and negotiation strategies.

• Deliver results-oriented and compassionate client representation.

• Manage a varied caseload across all firm office locations as required.

• Supervise assigned paralegals and support personnel.

• Ensure accuracy in pleadings, discovery, and document preparation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active membership in the Texas State Bar.

• At least 2 years of licensure.

• More than 5 years of focused experience in Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship litigation.

• Proven track record of success in the courtroom.

• Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.

• Ability to maintain empathy in highly emotional situations.

• Proficient in Clio, TxDoc, Google Suite, and contemporary e-filing systems.

• Valid driver's license.

• Willingness to travel between firm office locations.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is considered a strong advantage.
