This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for a diverse client base.

• Create and finalize translated deliverables prior to client submission.

• Collaborate with Project Managers while working under the supervision of a manager.

• Translate documents from English to Danish in the fields of Legal (Terms/Conditions and Contracts) and/or Information Technology (User Interface).

• Provide relevant experience in Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM along with proposed per-word rates in USD.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities in Danish.

• Expertise in Legal (Terms/Conditions and Contracts) and/or Information Technology (User Interface).

• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar.

• Capability to uphold professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines.

• Applicants are required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

• Completion of free Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM assessments is mandatory for applicants.

• One of the following qualifications is necessary: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or an equivalent degree with substantial translation training) from an accredited higher education institution; two years of translation experience paired with a college degree; five years of translation experience without a college degree; or a translation competence certificate granted by a suitable government authority.

• Proficient or native Danish and English language skills are essential for application.
