Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation, Enforcement of Court-Awarded Attorneys’ Fees

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a representative for NWADV through its court-awarded attorneys’ fees enforcement team, managing cases throughout all Brazilian states.

• Examine court publications, organize deadlines within the case management system, assess proceedings, create reports, and adhere to deadlines.

• Revise calculations and reach out to opposing counsel with the aim of settling disputes amicably.

• Prepare defenses, appeals, and a variety of legal documents.

• Manage Credit Recovery cases, which include enforcement actions, collection processes, and payment order measures.

• Propel actions to recover outstanding credit by requesting interventions through SISBAJUD, RENAJUD, INFOJUD, SNIPER, and other relevant systems.

• Oversee judgment enforcement processes, including the preparation and contesting of calculations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of active registration with the São Paulo Bar Association (OAB/SP).

• Experience in high-volume law firms.

• Demonstrated capability in managing credit recovery cases.

• Familiarity with judgment enforcement processes, including the preparation and contesting of calculations, securing debt, and filing challenges.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Intermediate skills in Excel.

• Competence in drafting defenses, appeals, and a variety of legal submissions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
