This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop and maintain relationships within the Private Equity landscape to foster strategic, long-term sales growth.
• Identify and connect with Portfolio Operations leads, Operating Partners, and Value Creation directors in targeted funds.
• Utilize an established professional network to gain access to highly restricted PE environments.
• Employ PE financial and operational terminology to build credibility with operational leadership.
• Navigate PE procurement processes to secure Master Service Agreements within portfolio companies.
• Position RRD as a key contender for operational inefficiency and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Broaden RRD’s presence across targeted portfolio companies through successful initial engagements.
• Cross-sell and expand RRD services across additional portfolio assets.
• Introduce specialized operational assessments during pre-acquisition due diligence and holding phases.
• Leverage assessments to build a pipeline and position RRD for execution contracts.
• Achieve KPIs including signed MSAs, executed assessment engagements, and sales revenue attributed to PE relationships.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Experience as a former management consultant with firms like McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or a top-tier operations consulting firm, particularly in Private Equity or Post-Merger Integration; or as a former COO, VP of Sales, or VP of Operations who has successfully scaled and exited a PE-backed portfolio company; or demonstrated success in selling professional services directly to PE funds.
• Must reside in a primary or secondary PE hub: New York City, Greenwich, CT, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Austin, Miami, or Atlanta.
• Strong understanding of EBITDA, IRR, Multiple Expansion, and the 100-Day Plan.
• Capacity to master RRD’s service portfolio and align solutions with PE financial and operational objectives.
• Proficiency in low-volume, high-trust Account-Based Selling strategies and lengthy, complex institutional sales cycles.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deploy specialized delivery teams.
