This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Cultivate relationships throughout the Private Equity landscape to foster strategic, long-term sales momentum.
• Identify and engage with Portfolio Operations leads, Operating Partners, and Value Creation directors within targeted funds.
• Utilize an established professional network to penetrate highly restricted PE environments.
• Establish credibility through peer-to-peer interactions employing PE financial and operational terminology.
• Navigate the procurement processes of PE to secure Master Service Agreements within portfolio companies.
• Position RRD on shortlists for initiatives aimed at operational inefficiency and cost reduction.
• Broaden RRD’s presence across multiple portfolio companies through successful early engagement.
• Cross-sell and expand RRD services into additional portfolio assets.
• Introduce specialized operational assessments during pre-acquisition due diligence and holding phases.
• Utilize assessments to create a pipeline and secure full execution contracts post-acquisition.
• Collaborate across functions within RRD to implement specialized delivery teams.
• Achieve results measured by signed MSAs, executed assessments, and recognized sales revenue derived from PE relationships.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Experience as a former management consultant from MBB, Big 4, or a top-tier operations consulting firm, particularly in Private Equity or Post-Merger Integration practices; or as a former COO, VP of Sales, or VP of Operations who has scaled and exited a PE-backed portfolio company; or as a boutique PE-origination specialist with a proven track record of selling professional services directly to PE funds.
• Must reside in a primary PE hub: New York City, Greenwich, CT, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco/Silicon Valley, or Los Angeles; secondary consideration will be given to candidates in Austin, Miami, or Atlanta.
• Profound understanding of EBITDA, IRR, Multiple Expansion, and the 100-Day Plan.
• Capability to master RRD’s service portfolio and align solutions with PE financial and operational goals.
• Proficiency in low-volume, high-trust Account-Based Selling strategies and navigating complex institutional sales cycles.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deploy specialized delivery teams.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
