This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Build strategic, long-term sales momentum by establishing relationships throughout the Private Equity ecosystem.
• Identify and engage with Portfolio Operations leads, Operating Partners, and Value Creation directors within targeted funds.
• Utilize an existing professional network to gain access to highly exclusive PE environments.
• Employ PE financial and operational terminology to gain credibility with operational leadership.
• Navigate intricate PE procurement processes to secure Master Service Agreements.
• Position RRD on the shortlist for initiatives aimed at addressing operational inefficiencies and cost reduction within portfolio companies.
• Expand RRD’s presence across targeted portfolio companies through successful early engagement.
• Cross-sell and scale RRD’s services across additional portfolio assets.
• Introduce specialized operational assessments during the pre-acquisition due diligence and long-term holding phases.
• Leverage assessments to foster goodwill and secure full execution contracts post-acquisition.
• Collaborate across various functions within RRD to deploy specialized delivery teams.
• Drive signed MSAs, executed assessment engagements, and revenue generated from PE relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Experience as an ex-management consultant from MBB, Big 4, or a tier-1 operations consulting firm, particularly in Private Equity or Post-Merger Integration practices; or as a former COO, VP of Sales, or VP of Operations who has successfully scaled and exited a PE-backed portfolio company; or as a boutique PE-origination specialist with a proven sales track record in professional services directly to PE funds.
• Must be located in a primary PE hub: New York City, Greenwich, CT, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, or Los Angeles; secondary considerations include Austin, Miami, or Atlanta.
• Strong understanding of PE financial metrics such as EBITDA, IRR, Multiple Expansion, and the 100-Day Plan.
• Ability to swiftly master RRD’s portfolio of services and align them with PE financial and operational objectives.
• Highly proficient in low-volume, high-trust Account-Based Selling strategies for long, complex institutional sales cycles.
• Capability to work cross-functionally to deploy specialized delivery teams.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States (this is implicit due to the location and employment conditions of the role).
