This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Build and nurture relationships within the Private Equity ecosystem to foster strategic, long-lasting sales growth.
• Identify and engage with Portfolio Operations leads, Operating Partners, and Value Creation directors in select funds.
• Utilize professional networks to gain access to exclusive PE environments and initiate business discussions.
• Navigate the procurement processes in PE to establish Master Service Agreements with portfolio operating companies.
• Position RRD as a preferred choice for addressing operational inefficiencies and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Broaden RRD’s presence across diverse portfolio companies through successful initial engagements.
• Cross-sell and expand RRD services into additional portfolio assets.
• Introduce specialized operational assessments during pre-acquisition due diligence and throughout the holding phases.
• Employ assessments to create a pipeline and secure full execution contracts post-acquisition closure.
• Collaborate with RRD delivery teams following the establishment of fund-level relationships or MSAs.
• Attain signed MSAs, executed assessment engagements, and recognized sales revenue from PE partnerships.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required.
• A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Experience as a former management consultant from MBB, Big 4, or a tier-1 operations consulting firm, specifically in Private Equity or Post-Merger Integration practices; or as a former COO, VP of Sales, or VP of Operations who has scaled and exited a PE-backed portfolio company; or as a boutique PE-origination specialist with a demonstrated history of selling professional services directly to PE funds.
• Must be located in a primary or secondary PE hub: New York City, Greenwich, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Austin, Miami, or Atlanta.
• A strong understanding of EBITDA, IRR, Multiple Expansion, and the 100-Day Plan.
• Ability to master RRD’s service portfolio and align solutions with PE financial and operational goals.
• Proficiency in low-volume, high-trust Account-Based Selling strategies and complex institutional sales cycles.
• Capability to work cross-functionally to deploy specialized delivery teams.
• An existing professional network that provides access to PE environments.
