Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Create a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction utilizing a synthetic deal document pack.

• Produce an editable Excel workbook that includes live formulas, source references, and clearly stated assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews on two anonymized models from fellow contractors based on a defined set of criteria.

• Write a brief rationale for each peer review and complete the corresponding review scorecard.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall professional experience.

• Approximately 2 years of investment banking experience in Consumer/Retail or general M&A.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently serving as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap private equity fund.

• Experience focused on consumer/leisure/multi-site services, including fitness clubs, owned vs. franchise, or multi-site roll-ups.

• Preference for candidates with Paris office or French deal experience.

• Capability to build a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.

• Proficient in English.

• Must hold independent contractor status.

• Must reside in one of the following countries: Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, or Netherlands.

• H-1B or STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
