Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for an assigned consumer/leisure transaction using a synthetic deal document pack.

• Create an editable Excel workbook featuring live formulas, source references, and specified assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews of two anonymized models from other contractors based on a defined set of criteria.

• Provide a concise written rationale for each peer review conducted.

• Complete a review scorecard.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and enhancing AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of total professional experience.

• Around 2 years of investment banking experience in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A, preferably in Paris, London, or elsewhere in Europe.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently serving as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap PE fund.

• A focus on consumer/leisure/multi-site services is preferred, including fitness clubs, ownership versus franchise, and multi-site roll-ups.

• Preference for candidates with Paris office or French deal experience.

• Ability to construct a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.

• Proficiency in English.

• Must reside in one of the following countries: Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, or the Netherlands.

• Must hold independent contractor status.

• H1-B or STEM OPT candidates will not be supported.
