Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction based on a synthetic deal document package.

• Create an editable Excel workbook featuring live formulas, source references, and specified assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews of two anonymized models from other contractors in accordance with established criteria.

• Offer a concise written rationale for each peer review and complete a review scorecard.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall experience.

• Around 2 years of investment banking experience in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A, preferably in Paris, London, or other parts of Europe.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently employed as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap PE fund.

• Focus on consumer, leisure, or multi-site services, including fitness clubs, ownership versus franchise models, or multi-site roll-ups.

• Preference for candidates with Paris office or French deal experience.

• Capability to construct a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.

• Proficiency in English.

• Availability to work approximately 20–25 hours over a period of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Must operate as an independent contractor.

• H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
