Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction utilizing a synthetic deal document package.

• Produce an editable Excel workbook featuring live formulas, source references, and clearly outlined assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews of two anonymized models created by other contractors against established criteria.

• Offer a concise written justification for each peer review conducted.

• Complete a review scorecard as part of the evaluation process.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall experience in relevant fields.

• Around 2 years of investment banking experience focusing on Consumer/Retail or general M&A, preferably in Paris, London, or other European locations.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently held the position of Associate at a mid-market or large-cap private equity fund.

• Focus on consumer, leisure, or multi-site services, including fitness clubs, owned versus franchise operations, or multi-site roll-ups.

• Preference for candidates with experience in the Paris office or with French deals.

• Capability to construct a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.

• Proficient in English.

• Available for approximately 20–25 hours over a period of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Must be eligible to work without H-1B or STEM OPT sponsorship.
