Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction using a synthetic deal document pack.

• Produce an editable Excel workbook that includes live formulas, source citations, and clearly stated assumptions.

• Conduct a peer review of two anonymized models created by other contractors, adhering to established criteria.

• Supply a brief written explanation for each peer review and complete a review scorecard.

• Undertake approximately 20–25 hours of work over a period of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall experience.

• Around 2 years of investment banking experience in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently serving as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap PE fund.

• Preference for a focus on consumer, leisure, or multi-site services.

• Experience in the Paris office or with French deals is a plus.

• Capability to construct a financial model from source documents independently, without a template.

• Proficient in English.

• Engagement as an independent contractor.

• Must reside in one of the following countries: Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, or the Netherlands.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
