Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction derived from a synthetic deal document package.

• Provide an editable Excel workbook featuring live formulas, source citations, and clearly defined assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews of two anonymized models from other contractors based on established criteria.

• Offer a brief written explanation for each peer review conducted.

• Complete a review scorecard as part of the process.

• Dedicate approximately 20–25 hours over a span of 1.5–2 weeks to the project.

• Contribute to initiatives that train and enhance artificial intelligence systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall experience in relevant fields.

• Around 2 years of investment banking experience within Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently serving as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap private equity fund.

• Focus on consumer/leisure/multi-site services, such as fitness centers, owned versus franchise models, or multi-site roll-ups.

• Preference for candidates with experience in the Paris office or French deals.

• Capability to construct a financial model from source documents independently, without a preset template.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Must possess independent contractor status.

• Eligibility to work without H1-B or STEM OPT assistance is mandatory.
