Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model based on a designated consumer/leisure transaction derived from a synthetic deal document pack.

• Provide an editable Excel workbook featuring live formulas, source citations, and clearly defined assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews of two anonymized models created by other contractors, adhering to established criteria.

• Write a brief rationale for each peer review and complete a review scorecard for documentation.

• Dedicate approximately 20–25 hours of work over a period of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems in collaboration with top AI laboratories and enterprises.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall professional experience.

• Around 2 years of investment banking experience focusing on Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A, preferably in Paris, London, or other European locations.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently serving as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap private equity fund.

• Focused experience in consumer, leisure, or multi-site services, such as fitness facilities, owned versus franchise models, or multi-site roll-ups.

• Preference for candidates with experience in the Paris office or French deals.

• Capability to construct a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.

• Proficiency in English.

• Must qualify as an independent contractor.

• No requirement for H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship.
