Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction based on a synthetic deal document package.

• Provide an editable Excel workbook featuring live formulas, source references, and clearly stated assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews on two anonymized models from fellow contractors according to a predetermined set of criteria.

• Offer a concise written explanation for each peer review conducted.

• Complete a review scorecard.

• Dedicate approximately 20–25 hours over the course of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and enhancing AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of total professional experience.

• Around 2 years of investment banking experience in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A, preferably in Paris, London, or other European locations.

• 1–2 years in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently serving as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap private equity fund.

• Focus on consumer, leisure, or multi-site services, which includes fitness clubs, owned versus franchise, or multi-site roll-ups.

• Experience with the Paris office or French deals is preferred.

• Proficient in building a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.

• Must be fluent in English.

• Must reside in one of the following countries: Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, or the Netherlands.

• Engagement as an independent contractor.

• Currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.
