
Prior Authorizations Supervisor – Pain Interventions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Oversee the daily operations of prior authorization and reimbursement support for pain intervention therapies.
• Mentor, develop, and manage team performance to meet service, quality, and productivity targets.
• Track payer requirements, coverage policies, and authorization procedures to enable timely patient access.
• Address complex reimbursement, coverage, and escalation challenges with payers, providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate operational metrics and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and improve customer experience.
• Collaborate with reimbursement, sales, clinical, and patient access teams to overcome coverage and payment obstacles.
• Create and present training on prior authorization workflows, payer requirements, and reimbursement processes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, payer guidelines, and relevant healthcare regulations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience, OR an Associate's Degree with 3+ years of experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree with at least 1 year of supervisory experience, OR 3+ years of customer service experience.
• Experience in customer service, patient access, reimbursement support, prior authorization, or healthcare operations.
• Proven track record in leading, supervising, coaching, or directing the work of employees or teams.
• Familiarity with healthcare payers, insurance verification, authorization processes, or reimbursement activities.
• Proficient in customer service systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not available for roles below Principal level.
• For degrees obtained outside of the United States, a qualification that meets the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
