Prior Authorization Representative

📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for Prior Authorization inquiries from members, healthcare providers, and a varied customer demographic.

• Assess whether intricate requests should be escalated to a pharmacist for further assistance.

• Ensure thorough, timely, and precise documentation of both approvals and denials.

• Record discussions and outcomes across various software platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or a call center setting.

• Ability to work remotely from home.

• Access to high-speed internet.

• Proficient in pronouncing medication names and medical diagnoses.

• Capability to identify medical terminology.

• Proficient in navigating multiple software applications.

• Strong keyboarding skills.

• Flexible scheduling, including shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays.

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
